New content gets deleted every 1-2 weeks probably because of mobile space. Other games have content drought but there literally aint shyt to do in this game

Events have 4-5+ parts of it daily time locked so you cant finish it within an hour

Can't even put your spent money to use

They literally have psychologists help come up with these models and it's only gotten more and more refined over time.

Destiny doesn't push the microtransactions like that, but its gameplay loop with the bounties, loot, and various activities is extremely addicting to me personally. The game itself is fun, but I literally have to keep myself from playing it or else I won't do anything else until I get absolutely burned out . These games want you to be the hamster on the wheel always chasing the next piece of cheese and have figured out the recipe, more than most would like to admit
