They crashed the economy the last time they had the majority and what happened? they got voted out in spectacular fashion and it will happen again
With the upcoming Moore v Harper decision I'm not too confident on that either. I think we've successfully been coup'd. I pray I'm wrong but things aren't actually looking too good. The only positive thing is the changes in demographics taking place across the country and more young people being able to vote. People are really going to have to show up at the voting booths come 2024.

agreed... conservatives are just extremely nasty and vicious people.... we're used to seeing how nasty they are towards non-conservatives so we're thrown off when they start being that way towards each other... but remember trump said that cruz' father killed jfk and that his wife is ugly but now cruz is one of trump's biggest fanboys..... lil' marco...? he loves trump too... even jeb bush's son kissed trump's pinky ring....

this is how conservatives talk to each other... they're nasty, vile, reprehensible, but they fall in line...
Agreed. People don't get it. All the Republicans care about is power. And these people have played the long game. This is a multi-generational project to return the country to where we were pre-1965. I don't think they'll be successful. But they have definitely set themselves up to have the legal means to do so.

Unpopular opinion but I don't think Republicans are as divided as we want to believe. Personally I think the "moderates" will ultimately fall in line with whatever fukkery the MAGA extremists want. And it wouldn't surprise me if they crash the economy for political leverage.
i think it depends on the issue. yes, they're all gonna fall in line with whoever the base nominates for '24, keep sucking trump's dikk, etc

but you cant tell me there arent at least 5 moderate republicans who dont want to explain crashing the economy to their district :dead: since they control the House, this is THEIR work now. they promised the economy taking off in '23, not crashing

why the fukk would kevin mccarthy want to oversee a crashed economy after taking power? shutting down government?

trump shut it down, and i remember him losing face :yeshrug:

in 23 and 24, i really dont see how it's not just a reason to replace mccarthy with hakeem jeffries :heh:do you think swing voters want a government shutdown?

"We still have a Democrat President and Senate. We tried to stop it, but the far left woke policies and reckless spending caused the economy to crash. :manny:"

"The government shut down due to the far left woke policies and reckless spending of the Democrats. We tried to work with Democrats on a common sense solution, but they wouldn't budge from their far left woke policies and reckless spending. :manny:"

but it didnt shut down in 21 and 22, so that point is invalid. it only works on low IQ magas

republicans lost face with the mccarthy election. any more fukkery will just be seen as an extension of that :dead:
