True, but nvidia is honestly competing against itself. Arguably the best protocol to stream. Stream performance is mostly agnostic in terms of where in their product line you want to be at. Scalability is not a problem since most of the legwork is GPU due to the protocol mentioned before. And to top it off they haven't done much to expand on GameStream in general for most of its existence and it is still beating everything else. MS has had more iterations and changed in xCloud and it still sucks ass compared to GameStream.
It's just being the only decent player and charging up to feed greed. Unless there's some eggs they're sitting on to hatch at the right time, I don't see how this that rarely sees substantial updates justifies the price increase and cap.
