Yep, smaller budgets allowed for tons of games to drop

I miss shytty low budget licensed games and pointless franchises :yeshrug:

Agreed and the replay value is :ohlawd:. I can still play those games for hours on end if I wanted to & did as a kid.

I get modern shyt now & get tired after a few hours to a week of playing it.

It was a steady stream of dopeness from the 16 bit era to the end of the PS2 era. HD era started off rocky but it is picking up steam again

ill take the PSX/N64 era any day of the week.

Ill also take the SNES/Genesis era too. Think if youre a 90s baby then PS2 makes sense but anyone born in the 80s...not seeing how you take PS2.

PS1 had Final Fantasy 7,8,9 and Tactics. Parasite Eve, Dino Crisis, Resident Evil 1,2,3. Crash 1-3. Legacy of Kain and Soul Reaver. Metal Gear Solid, Twisted Metal series, Tony Hawk.
N64 had Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Zelda64, Majoras Mask, Star Fox, The GOAT wrestling games, Mario Kart etc.

Not sure how any gen comes close. When I think of PS2 I remember Spiderman2, Hulk ultimate destruction, FFX, the GTA series and ports of dreamcast fighters like CVS2 and Marvel2. Okami, SOTC also were dope. Not sure how it compares though
