With the news that Resellers like Gamestop will only be able to keep 10% of the price of used copies they sell, it looks like the Wii U and PS4 (depending on what Sony does) will be the frontrunners in their stores going forward

I was actually surprised the stocks didn't react to the initial rumors. I remember checking the prices on the day the rumor dropped.

If Sony makes a similar move Gamestop is going to have to reconsider their entire business model. Either that or kill most of their brick and mortar stores.

I wouldn't say Gamefly is flat out done. The game libraries for PS3 and Xbawx 360 are both pretty expansive. I'm not even a hardcore gamer like that and I have 35 games in my queue. They will be good until nobody is messing with PS3 anymore.

Like @iamstr8fire said they won't be completely buried since there is a huge backlog of games going back from this gen. There is just little incentive to push X1 used games right now.

What is done on the Sony system will definitely be the key to what happens with them going forward?

True. But there's no backwards compatibility on either system as far as we know.

I know that once I get my next system my 360 and PS3 will be joining my Wii in the bushes. shyt. I hardly play them now.

I'm keeping the ps3 for eternity. Even when my interest in PS3 games has waned the system will still be an incredible media center with removable storage.

Are Gamestop and Gamefly the Same company? I would look into merger Asap if possible
