I rarely ever see black men in real life with cropped dreads or twists flipped to the side.
Why not just have it even on both sides

I've seen some posts about dreads on artstation. It's apparently a challenging thing to do to rig and sculpt them correctly. So because people have taken the time to add that to their toolkit, they might just want to show it off consistently and there's prob some ease of use by reusing this hairstyle.
