It's been a while since I've watched the series of videos Jeff made discussing this but I believe the key thing to this is how long you've been lifting. If you haven't been lifting for a while I don't think you will get much from a full body 5x a week program, so PPL would be better. I'll have to look but the full body 5x times a week program js actually more of a hybrid meaning one week its full body and the next week is an upper/lower split.

I disagree with the hilighted. :usure:

I've done FB 6-7+ times a week before and gained more strength versus size (but that was somewhat because of design).

@chromeracer4 As someone who's ran both, PPL (provided it has adequate volume) will be better for size/hypertrophy.

Furthermore, if you're not squatting 5x a week (and you aren't) then why exactly would you want to do FB over PPL anyways?

My recommendation would be a higher-volume PPL (with deadlifts and front squats on pull days) done in the order Pull-Push-Legs-Pull-Push-Legs-Rest.

PPL is by no means the end all, be all of training programs so it is what it is. :yeshrug:

I mean your strength and training ability. Most people will burn themselves out trying to do fullbody 5x a week. It's going to be too much for them and they won't see the results they are trying to achieve.

But how many people go to the gym to be truly skrong on some superhero shyt? And how many folks go to stunt on IG, or so they can have that extra piece of cake, assuming they go at all? :francis:

The gym is a chore for most people, but lifting is my nindo, my ninja whey.

You could achieve the same results 3-4x week full body:yeshrug:

I don't take strength training advice/tips from people that are weaker than myself. :hubie:
Take em from smarter more educated lifters then, such as myself. But hey you were the nikka living in the gym when you could have gotten the same results off 3-4 days.
work smarter not harder pleighboi:usure:

That dude videos always has all these links to scientific studies, and while that's great, everyone's body reacts differently to different stimuli.
He has been on youtube for years and I have yet to see any change in his muscle mass.
PPL has been the formula that has shown me the best results.
