Amusements parks were always poppin, the weekends you could always find a club to kick it at (and they actually played slow jams), putt-putt (fun date), Dave & Busters, rollerskate, bicycle, car shows, hit an arcade. Everything I mentioned is still going today, except there is a lot less clubs.

During NBA Season the og WGN Superstation out of Chicago was on our cable service in North Carolina and they showed all the MJ Bulls games.
I would watch the Bulls with Johnny Red Kerr and then I would catch up on Chicago news and weather
