2012 if the world ends at least we got five of the best albums in a long ass time. You could be the most cynical hip-hop fan and there is something for you that dropped this year. Take your pick.

We got 7 winners this year. I'll say 8 but I know a lot you guys don't fukk with Ross like that. Lets just appreciate hip-hops revival and how good it feels again to be a fan of hip-hop.

This is definitely one of the strongest years for hip hop in awhile. Not to say hip hop has been weak, just that this year is craazy. Best thing is that most of the best releases aren't being ignored, like they might have been in past years. Killer Mike is getting props everywhere, same with Alchemist, Kendrick, etc
