I remember when that meant something... she used to kill every feature in the 90s/early 2000s...

Nowadays every rapper out of the woodwork wants a soulful feature and call her up. The tracks themselves be more ordinary than her feature really... but Mary J's voice/presence is still solid.

These artists just need to make better songs when they call her up for the feature.

she sucked on both features for Kendrick and Nas but let's not act like those beats were any good either. I wish nikkas would start grabbing Teedra Moses for features if they trying to go to that soulful, r&b route. Lets be real, in 2012 a Mary feature ain't doing nothing for you.
