Little more nuanced how? If JJ and Finch swapped rosters, are you telling me that Finch would still be up 3-1? Or would Finch be hindered by the same thing of a lack of frontcourt depth?
A minute rest was all they needed?
You know cotdamn well the game would've still come down to whoever executed in the closing moments and how the officiating affected them, regardless of what rest they got. Bron's late-game turnover had nothing to do with a lack of rest; the officials missing Luka getting tripped had nothing to do with a lack of rest - both these plays were ultimately the difference between them winning and losing.
Bron has been gassed in every game because he's asked to do too much on defense. Again, which can be addressed by having proper bigs to do that dirty work. Giving him a couple minutes more rest isn't going to drastically change his workload and how much energy he has in the 4th. It's funny because a lack of execution in the 4th has been a thorn in the Lakers' side for the last three postseasons (it's what plagued them against Denver), so suddenly pretending like the players playing for an entire half is the reason why they couldn't close out the 4th quarter would be ignoring it's been a trend for them for years.
Every single 4th quarter of this series they've struggled - starters resting and starters not resting. It hasn't mattered. They've struggled, regardless.
On a related note, take Game 3 for instance -
Bron played the entire 2nd half and he had 11 points in the 4th, so playing him all those minutes didn't affect his offensive production in the 4th of that game despite playing two quarters straight.
Here's another important factor of why there's too much emphasis on them playing too many minutes -
They don't play again until Wednesday.
That was a prime opportunity for them to empty the clip and draw the series 2-2 and rest up for Game 5.
He played the entire 2nd half in Game 3 and had 11 points in the 4th.

except lebron and luka are supposed to be better than ant and RandleAnd so when it's clear Bron and Luka are playing at their max, and JJ is doing his best trying to navigate through this series not having a frontcourt, where they don't have much room for error given the imbalance of the roster, you still choose to blame them? Replace Hayes with Naz and the Lakers would be up 3-1, and this desire to fuel y'all agendas with this blame game shyt wouldn't be happening right now.
This shyt of Luka lost us this game, Bron lost us this game or JJ lost us this game wouldn't even be talking points.

I think the Luka centric 4th qt offense hasn’t worked like they wanted, and Reaves has been underwhelming as the secondary ball handler
Overall I’m not sure what you can ask from JJ given the roster deficiencies. Hayes is a negative, Vando is the worst offensive player in the playoffs, Goodwin is an energy guy, Gabe is yoir best guy off the bench but is he the difference between winning and losing?

I should’ve been more skeptical of the Lakers given their low SRS. But since we got Luka mid season it was a whole new team. And I got optimistic
