We knew the Lakers were going into the playoffs with no bigs after we called off the trade in Feb and Minny was always a possible playoff opponent .
And so when it's clear Bron and Luka are playing at their max, and JJ is doing his best trying to navigate through this series not having a frontcourt, where they don't have much room for error given the imbalance of the roster, you still choose to blame them? Replace Hayes with Naz and the Lakers would be up 3-1, and this desire to fuel y'all agendas with this blame game shyt wouldn't be happening right now.

This shyt of Luka lost us this game, Bron lost us this game or JJ lost us this game wouldn't even be talking points.

And I'm the one posting bullshyt.

You're the same cat who was hyping up Jaxson Hayes all season and didn't want any parts of Mark Williams (who would be valueable in this series), so this doesn't hit like you think it does.

The point I was making was, if the Lakers had even one quality big, they'd be leading this series, so it's got less to do with whatever the fukk y'all want to blame Bron, Luka or JJ for, and more to do with your non-existent frontcourt. That's what's to blame. But I guess that doesn't add fuel to the fire of stan wars.

You right breh as soon as we pulled out the trade we should have given up our playoff spot, too much to overcome.

Double digit lead in game 4, tie game with 4 minutes left in game 3, up by 20 at one point in game 2. We never had a shot at this series :mjcry:

Easy to say in hindsight.

You can't just Monday morning quarterback this shyt as if resting that player here and bringing in that player there would've made any notable change to what happened.

They've rested starters to start the 4th in every game (prior to Game 4), and they've still struggled to generate offense and lost out in every one of them. You can't then suggest resting them in this 4th quarter would've changed anything if it hadn't changed anything in the last three games. I gather one of the main reasons why JJ wanted to run with that same lineup to start the 4th is because of the very fact all the other bench lineups in all the other 4th quarters didn't work out.

They've struggled in every single 4th quarter, no matter the lineup and no matter who gets rest.

And the reason why they struggle is due to the accumulation of expended energy and wear and tear over the first three quarters going up against a bigger, and more physical/athletic team.

Calling out an extreme coaching decision isn't MMQ......Playing the same 5 for the entire half isn't normal..Especially when you built a double-digit lead and could've given Lebron/Luka a short rest.......I've been one of the biggest JJ supporters....Not giving Bron/Luka a short rest was stupid.

Everybody gonna be shytting on JJ tomorrow but somehow it was the right move because we would have lost anyways? :gucci:

The lack of a frontcourt taking its toll the more the game goes on. With a proper one, y'all would turn those double digit leads or close games into wins. They're fighting at their max to overcompensate for a lack of size and athleticism, that it eventually comes to a head when they no longer have gas. We've seen this in every game of this series, they've only been fortunate enough in one game where they built up a big enough lead where they could hang on.

Yes, giving Luka/Bron a little rest was an option. An ideal one with a proper roster.

But let me ask you this -

If the Lakers gave up a 10-point lead in two minutes playing that bench unit to start the 4th, and the Lakers still lost by one possession, would you be blaming that lineup at the start of the 4th for losing the game?

You right, JJ fukking up not playing Jaxson Hayes. He should be out there so he can step up the opportunities he has to foul out. JJ fukking up not playing Gabe more minutes when all y'all are complaining about why's he even on the floor when he can't hit a shot. JJ fukking up not playing Vando more minutes when all y'all talking about how much you hate seeing him on the floor because he's worthless on offense.

A good coach wouldn't let the team give up the entire lead.....If Minny scored the first 2 baskets of the 4th, call a timeout and put your big gun back in the game

It's a little more nuanced than that and you know it lol. JJ been getting out classed even with the roster deficiencies

Theoretically, Minny could score the first two buckets, all within one minute.

So essentially your argument is, JJ not resting Luka/Bron for potentially one minute was the difference between them winning/losing? Why didn't resting the starters during the 4th quarter help in any of the other games if it was that simple? Why have the Lakers lost every single 4th quarter in this series, resting the starters and not?

Well, Lebron usually gives them offensive productivity in the 4th
