Watch the pilot and the second episode yesterday. Pretty funny.
I love the nostalgia and some of the back and forth jokes, but it's nothing special at all. It's a really C grade version of everybody hates chris.

liked this show a lot. there were plenty of good things to keep watching for
1. the mom is great and is smokin hot imo
2. Eddie is funny and his hip hop shirts will continue to be great
3. the music obviously
4. the little brothers ratting out Eddie for everything
5. the dad was kinda weak, but that guy's good and he has potential
6. the neighbor kid making comments about his deadbeat dad

The black kid was hilarious too and at first glance, didn't seem too stereotypical either. I hope he's in more eps. in the future. The only neg I have about the show is the rather white-washing standpoint that the family is constantly aspiring to be. Though on the flip side, Eddie is black-washing himself, lol, and I have no idea how a Chinese-American family really acts like behind closed doors, now or twenty years ago.
