Conversations need to be had, this is the best rapping any rapper all year has done and yes that includes Kendrick Cole Vince Schoolboy Ab Soul whoever you want to put in there. Have to live with it longer but it’s most likely going to be in my top 5.

Freddie beats Q on the rapping. But when you factor in production and the songs themselves, I still think Bluelips is a better album. My only (slight) critique with 1nce is that it pretty much stays at the same tempo the whole way through, production-wise. BL is somehow all over the place but still cohesive top to bottom at the same time.

Pop (hip hop moshpit) to Thank God 4 Me (soulful, then ratchet as fukk) to Blueslides (jazz) to Yeern 101 (unfiltered ignant) is a good example of what I mean.

Can’t go wrong with either as AOTY tho, honestly.

Definitely the weakest of his last 4 albums, but definitely enjoyable.

I’m part of the extreme minority that may have enjoyed, and played the shyt out of “Alfredo” but not as much as the rest of his post CTE discography (aside from Freddie and ESGN, which I don’t consider bad, but they are the floor in my order of preference to listen to). This right there with SSS and you only live 2wice for me

Steel doors, still at the crack house thuggin' with the Lords (Huh)
nikka, why would I touch a pack when I can still record? (Uh)
When it come to them flows, I'm one of the coldest nikkas ever born
fukk me when you mad at your nikka, nothin' like a woman scorned (Uh)
I'm beggin' the Lord to heal me, but I'm loyal to what's gon' kill me
If I switch it up, change up my message, then they ain't gon' feel me
Chopper big, I can't conceal it, lift him up and he popped a wheelie (Uh)
If I take the pressure off of these nikkas, then they ain't gon' feel me (Uh)
Through these steel doors, you rep your set, is you gon' kill for it? (Uh)
Put that bytch on life support, heard they just pulled the cord (Huh)

You know, your problems only get bigger when you the biggest Lord TRX truck with the Hemi, I ride tyrannosaurus

Steel Doors is :whew: Gibbs was spitting and love the cloud-like beat. The outro was dope af as well

Alfredo is crazy, loved that album and also liked Pinata... Need to go back and listen to those again. I like his new one a lot too but I do think those have the edge. I need a few more listens to fully judge. Freddie has been consistent.
