I been bumpin that Gibbs religiously the past few days as well as that Dro....I been bumping that gibbs thinkin this nikkas song making ability is on top of the game,he got a hell of a ear for beats and he keep the hooks simple but sweet, and he got bars.
Listen to Dros tapes and this the best tape he dropped in a while, songs on point but not near the level of Gibbs song making ability, but I'm constantly hitting the rewind button to go or to a line he said or the way this nikka spittin..
Then I realize I don't remember a single line or quotable off of Gibbs mixtape....and with Dros I realize once I hear his lyrics on this tape and the initial of hearin Dro back in top form wears off I'm probaly not gon wanna hear this tape or the songs on it again.....whereas with Gibbs even tho he got bars he got them servicable bars where the great beat dnt go to waste on em.....but he don't really add that extra to it himself to stand out...no real personality in his rhymes.
Two great tapes tho for anybody who hasn't listened should check em out,Dro sound inspired again lyrically and more consistent then he has in a while...Gibbs cleaned up some of the weakness I thought he had before but still lacks them quotables and personality his homie Jeezy is famous for....tear yaself away from the bullshyt and beefs for a minute and download these tapes nikka..
Gibbs cd will definitly stay in the whip longer but Young Dros bars will stay in my head way longer than Gibbs lyrics..
