You got no rings Chuck shut up :damn: lowkey that is a smiley :mjlol:
Though this was a funny viral moment, this might’ve been the tipping point of the old show.

I watched what they put out today and it seems like the main issue was that the direction which Brandon and the rest of the team wanted to go with the show was different.

Both Fred and Channing mentioned how they started off the show as just friends kicking it and it's obvious over the last few months that the show was moving away from that format. Seems like with this show they want to keep things simple and go back to the original format.
I’m not surprised seeing as how it seems Brandon hires nothing but a lot of whites behind the scenes for IAA and HOA. Same tactic different day. Divide and conquer. I’m sure his “team” who are all non Black that I’ve seen gassed him up. Everyone in the forefront, face of his companies are Black and or athletes. Everyone behind the scenes and calling shots white…….. I didn’t know Ese left too.

Yea, knew IAA took a different route when they haven't addressed anything that has gone on in sports.

Deion getting the number 1 recruit and you got another Nascar episode. :francis:
Breh make it make sense! So much shyt happened in the last month or two and none of it was covered. But they down in Charlotte with Bubba discussing NASCAR :what:. That's when I knew something wasn't right but I didn't want to believe it.

I'm just glad Fred and Channing were able to quickly recover. Production value on point. Same synergy. Ryan Clark is a good addition. Let's go.

its a shame cause it had great production value as well

im guessing fred, channing and reggie were doing it on a humble and then when it gained popularity they rightfully wanted to get cut in on the action but were being undervalued

After listening to the Pivot show, I don't think it was money. Really sounded like direction and for that, I understand.

could be a mix

"We were out having fun man, just making magic, conversations, everyday locker room stuff, experiences. In the midst of all that, we didn't buckle up the business so when it came time to do the business part, you know there was some push back, some other stuff It just didn't add up." - Fred Taylor

indeed. but like others have said, it's Brandon's company. :yeshrug:

I do think Brandon was doing too much and forgot what got him there and made the show special. You can do all that other shyt you wanna do, but if the fellas want to keep shyt simple within the confines of that format then keep it that way for THAT podcast/show and do the other shyt on the others.

Yeah, I'll prolly never watch another episode of IAA..

the Pivot tho :whoo: They definitely got some heat with this one.

It didn't seem like money was the root of the split to me, but the wife thinks that money along with diverging from the original structure of the podcast ultimately fueled the split.

Personally, I can certainly deal with much less of B. Marshall trying to make every single mental health/epiphany moment about himself though.

"You know... :sas1: when I was receiving treatment at the McClean mental health facility it really taught me that..."

Like bruh we get it, let the guest talk without you being insecure and making their moment about you.

I hope he keeps getting the support he needs though. I certainly won't miss him as the moderator. That and him not being able to hang with some of their deeper/complex conversations.

Let’s be honest, the first couple of nascar joints were interesting w/ Bubba and Jr. The show jumped the shark frfr when them nikkas in LA got on. They had no charisma and no substance. I’ve never listened to the ladies or the vegan joints to have an opinion
