Fred Levinson's Comments Regarding How O.J. Simpson Looks

In Part 1 of O.J. Made in America, Fred Levinson, the Commercial Director for the Hertz commercial made the following comment regarding O.J. Simpson:


"He's African but a good looking man. He almost has white features. He wasn't the typical black and African look."



He made this comment about 1 hour and 10 minutes into part 1 of the documentary for people who haven't seen it yet.


My question is how does O.J. Simpson have white features??? Why does Fred Levinson feel he doesn't look like a typical black person??? That doesn't make any sense at all. O.J. Simpson does not look racially ambiguous like Dwayne Johnson so where the hell is Fred Levinson coming from?
