I just thought this movie blended emotion and fun so well. All the references to Monster movies and the characters were unique and all memorable.

And Sparky was my dude. If you`re a dog owner this movie hit home, especially if you lost a dog and really especially if that dog got hit by a car.

Tim Burton wanted to make this into a feature many moons ago but studio's preferred the other projects..he finally made it but in animation form.

shyt looks cool, it probably worked out better as a cartoon though in hindsight.

Especially after he had 30 years to perfect his craft.
