On Wednesday, the Obama campaign organized a fundraiser headlined by basketball superstars Michael Jordan, Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning and Carmelo Anthony to boost the president's fundraising efforts.

Rather, supporters who donated for a chance to attend the so-called "Obama Classic" thought they were going to a fundraiser being attended by current and former NBA stars. According to Fox Nation and the Free Beacon, they were in fact hanging out with "failed baseball player Michael Jordan and noted anti-police activist Carmelo Anthony."

Of course, calling Jordan a failed baseball player is like calling Fox a news organization. It's true in the most technical sense, but obscures the accomplishments they are really known for, like "greatest basketball player of all time" and "mouthpiece for the political right."

Let's see if we can apply the Fox Nation/Free Beacon standard to bring a new perspective on other famous personages…

Noted loofah fetishist and Thai sex show enthusiast Bill O'Reilly opened his show with a visit from one-time enemy combatant Geraldo Rivera…

History books would be more enlightening as well! That summit with noted alcoholic Winston Churchill, cripple Franklin D. Roosevelt and lover of American cowboy movies Joseph Stalin was quite the gathering.

The D (where it's so cold)
this is probably the greatest level of trolling i've ever witnessed.

It really is. These motherfukkers I swear...Who really thinks of his "failed baseball career" when you hear Micheal Jordan's name brought up? I know the average person probably knows who he was and that even now he's successful, what did this trolling (or misinformation) really accomplish?

I know it's election time so it's bash anything and everything related to Obama but when the person you're bashing is still regarded successful by the general public it makes your "fair and balanced" news station look pathetic.

Fox NEws need to step up their troll game. They were amazing back in 2008, this barely got an eyebrow raise out of me.
