The game was originally a single player experience, then they dropped the BR mode.

Yeah kind of funny that the original fortnite failed and they just aped PUBG and made it far more successful

I remember it was promised/supposed to be…and I was looking forward to playing it so I could practice being able to build but they never dropped it (at least not at the time)

Brah Fortnite originally dropped its single player first in July of 2017. BR mode came like September or October and dwarfed Save The World quickly. But the SP mode did technically drop first.

I remember trying to buy it a while ago and I couldn’t…this was on the xbox one

nvm…I remember what the “issue” was now…they said they were gonna make it free to play at some point but they reneged on doing that and I didn’t feel like paying for it…it was always at full price
