Instead of making Cody Rhodes Doctor Doom-like, a tragic and diabolical character bent on conquering the WWE simply because he's better than them and ranting about his once handsome but now ruined (not) face (he would need a better Reed Richards than Washed Up Mystereo) that he had to now hide behind a mask.....
They decided to have him DITCH the obvious natural character growth, the mask, the hood, the fukking VOICE....
and in the process made him as bland, generic and boring as Brad Armstrong.
What's funny to me as a comic reading wrestling nerd, though....
Is they chose to team a maskless porn 'stached Cody with Damien Sandow...
A wrestler who really, Really, REALLY wants to be another comic book conqueror... the super-intelligent (but still bestially violent) immortal cro-magnon strategist Vandal Savage.
