and dude started doing in nxt with husky harris, another amazing kid with a amazing gimmick now that he is bray wyatt, and slowly built around it. Those grooming tip segments were hilarious, fans hated this nikka then he had his nose broken and had to miss the rumble and came back BEASTING...his matches with rey were all piff
The Cody mustache is dope. That that stache is more over then 75% of the roster. It's even got its own thread on TSC
The storytelling was crazy good. It was all falling in place. The Dashing gimmick was played over the top but it made so much sense when he became Undashing. It elevated the previous gimmick
They blew it. They fukking blew it. Every other screw up I can come up with an explanation. But this.....this makes mo sense.

Instead of making Cody Rhodes Doctor Doom-like, a tragic and diabolical character bent on conquering the WWE simply because he's better than them and ranting about his once handsome but now ruined (not) face (he would need a better Reed Richards than Washed Up Mystereo) that he had to now hide behind a mask.....
They decided to have him DITCH the obvious natural character growth, the mask, the hood, the fukking VOICE....
and in the process made him as bland, generic and boring as Brad Armstrong.
