I first got into baseball because of Pedro Martinez, Manny Ramirez and David Ortiz. That's how I became a Red Sox fan.
I just happened to start watching in 2004, the year they broke the curse.
I was captivated by Tim's determination and uniqueness. Every member of that 2004 team is special to me. I'm beyond sad that one of them is no longer with us.
