Guess she still needs to eat
The hip-hop genre is wide open these days. Artists from all walks of life are trying their hand at trying to break in... and, one of the latest is former pornstar Bree Olson.
If you're not familiar with her adult films, you may remember her as one of Charlie Sheen's goddesses. Well, she's teamed up with boyfriend/producer Mike Gonsolin and released her debut single, "Hollywood Douchebag".
Released on iTunes earlier this month, the single in a parody track, poking fun at their relationship and the superficial life of Hollywood celebrities ... and its video matches the funny content of the song.
"I am super excited about my first single. It was such a blast doing the song and music video. Since both of us are not originally from Hollywood, and are hardly acclimated to its esoteric 'lifestyle,' this parody track seemed to come to fruition almost instantaneously," Olson told HipHopDX.com.
"It was such a breath of fresh air to be able to not take myself too seriously for a minute, and just poke fun at the silly town of Hollywood and everything that it embodies and reveres," added Gonsolin.
"Hollywood Douchebag" is currently on sale at iTunes.
Olson isn't the first pornstar to try to break into the music biz. Previous stars such as Heather Hunter, Pinky, Julia Bond, and Brian Pumper have all tried without much success.
