These types of folks can have all the strategy in the world, numbers will win as long as you have the proper equipment.
If the country goes civil war, civilians get supplies from the government to participate (sorry Red States but they aren't gonna help blue cities at all).

It's not even that deep. If anyone's telling you a civilian force can become a well oiled and trained combat forced after watching a couple of 20 minute vids is selling you a dream. Military brehs go through weeks of live combat training for a reason. I'm talking weeks of constant mental and physical conditioning and even that doesn't allows prepare them for actual battle.

Definitely. And it's a huge difference between people who are fighting for freedom and survival (which is the category we will be in during a civil war) and people who are fighting for dominance and dictatorship. People fighting for dominance are not as motivated in those scenarios.
