Grindavík has reached an agreement with Jeremy Pargo to play with the team for the rest of the season. Similarly, Devon Thomas will be gone and we thank him very much for his cooperation and his contribution to the team this winter.
Jeremy is full of experience, but he played two seasons in the NBA and then he won four championships in Israel and three cup championships, but when he played with Maccabi Tel Aviv, he also played in the finals of the EuroLeague. He and DeAndre Kane were teammates in Maccabi and should therefore know each other well on the field.
Jóhann Þór is full of anticipation to see Jeremy on the pitch with Grindavík:
"Jeremy is a very solid player, a tall playmaker who can score from anywhere on the pitch when he's not providing assists in piles. He brings a lot of experience into the team and should be able to lead the attack with discipline and stability, which is exactly what we have been lacking in the last few games."
Go Grindavík 💙💛
