Dude probably a scumbag, but got thrown under the bus to defend bigger scumbags at the company.
The stuff about bungies business being in the gutter is more interesting to me.
Goes to show how public perception can be way off from a companies actual health.
outside looking in, destiny and bungie conutinued to be a great success. But reality is, they’ve been struggling to stay afloat for a long time now.
We all thought sony needed bungie for their GAAS aspirations, but in reality bungie needed sony just to survive.
Not sure exactly what sony got out of this deal.

I guess, but the narrative around sony buying them was that sony needed their input and the destiny IP for their gaas push.
Seems it was totally the other way around.
