Peepin that Rookie show from a couple yrs ago, and dude was goin off on backs drafted before him. Even one of his family members started sh1ttin on CJ Spiller.

Then I go and look up his stats l and this dude was damn near a 1000 yrd RB behind Foster:wtf:

:takedat::myman: He had a couple of bad games were he didn't do much. But if he did he would have hit the 1000 mark. He was probably gonna be the starter his rookie year if he didn't get hurt.

Don't hate man.

Ben Tate is a good back. He would have been the starter if he did not get hurt his rookie season.

If its just the system and the line why didn't Steve Slaton and Derrick Ward get their rocks off.

Steve Slaton ran for 1200 yards his rookie year in that system

It's been well known since the 90s the zone blocking scheme make these RBs look better then they really are

Just look at Arian Foster,it's some people that seriously thinks he's the best RB in the league :heh:

thats how people discredit good players in the NFL, its always the system :heh:

Slaton had the exact same line in 2010 and was wack

Slaton had a total of 19 carries the entire 2010

Let's not sit here and act like he was playing every week and was garbage

Whenever he got playing time he produced

he was pretty productive when he played, cant deny the line is sick and def helps but Tate and Foster are good backs.

Foster's footwork is :ahh: for a bigger back, dude is sick he made me a believer in the playoffs. they lost Eric Winston, one of the best RT's in the game ill be interested to see how they plan to replace him

Slaton did til he started fumbling.

Davis, Gary, Anderson, Portis, Bell, Foster, Tate... all them nikkas benefited from zone blocking.

Portis was averaging over 5.5 yards a carry his 2 years in Denver which tells me he was the best out of the group. The system inflates anyone's numbers from average to Pro Bowl status. Portis' numbers were inflated to GOAT status which tells me he's a natural Pro Bowler without it.
