Do you only buy teams that you're a fan off? I ask because, I notice a lot of people assume you're a fan of a certain team if you are wearing their hat. I guess this makes sense in theory, but that's not how it works, at least in my environment.

I always throw on a cap if I'm about to go to the grocery store or something. I got a few different baseball caps. I always get stopped and asked if I'm a fan of that team. I have to explain to people that I like the colors are just think the logo is cool. Some of these fukkers get genuinely disappointed

This old white guy stopped me cause I had a Red Sox hat on and wanted to start rambling about dumb shyt like Triple a prospects and their chances this year. Once I told him that I didn't really even like the Red Sox he was like

Football and basketball = only local team gear (Pistons and Lions).In baseball I rock obscure team fitteds like the Rockies and Pirates along with my Tigers shyt Wouldn't be caught dead wearing a non tigers jersey though.I wear my NHL shyts just for the fashion.Ion't give a fukk about those teams.

I do have fitteds of other squads just because it looks cool though.

I'm the same way. I definetly have hats outside of my teams because of the colors/logo.

But I can't be caught with rival team attire

Nah....I buy fitteds/hats that go with the color theme of my outfits, BUT if I can find a hat that has a sick color theme and also reps one of my teams I'm happy.

There are exceptions though. Hats I would NEVER under any circumstances wear include the Yankees, Lakers and Cowboys. Would try to avoid the Heat to the best of my ability as well.

i can buy the hat for the colors of teams Im not into but theres certain teams Id never wear (red sox, lakers)

i Rep LA (dodgers fitted), i am a dodger fan. while im a laker fan the most i can do is rock a kobe jersey, those colors just dont look good on a hat imho, some other teams im a fan of, i dont wear their gear either, but i support them by watching them/ cheering for them..

Don't wear hats of teams I don't root for. I got a hat of a different team when I was like 15 for Christmas and I donated it to Goodwill.
