I like the direction that he took with this album. Music is A+, however I really wasn't impressed with the songwriting on most of these tracks. The songs didn't sound like complete songs... just glorified recorded jam sessions. Compare to artists like Bilal, D'Angelo and Raphael Saadiq and you'll see what I mean. Not to completely dog on the EP, there were 2 songs I liked... Back to Love and Never Give Up(which I have been hearing but didn't know who performed the song). For me, this is the type of CD that has to grow on you... Not a bad effort, just not impressive. Dope band name....
