This only applies for the people in New York I read an article, that New York City is turning up the difficulty on the GED. Also, all scores you had prior will no longer be valid after January 1,2014

NEW YORK (WABC) -- Students in New York State are rushing to get their G.E.D.'s before the guidlines change in 2013.

The G.E.D. test covers Language Arts, Writing, Math, Science and Social Studies. A score of 410 is required to pass each of those subjects, and a total score of 2,250 is required to pass the overall test.

Students are now able to transfer partial passing scores if they take the test again.

"But it will be a brand new exam. These young adults will have to start all over," said Randolph Peers..

So if you got a family member or friend tell them to get their stuff together before 2014

Well I don't know about all that, but the intelligence level in this section is much higher than the rest of the forum. You can't even have legit debates in some of these other forums.

As far as the GED is concerned:
I am not sure how much it has changed, but I looked over the sample questions I think 12-13 years ago when my uncle from D.R. came over and passed that shyt in his first try with english being his second language. From what I can remember back then the sample questions were so easy that it was something most 13 or 14 year olds should be able to pass.
