Football IS the ultimate teamsport

i used to think it was baseball but over the past 5 or so years football has been the #1 sport i actually sit down and watch. its just a thing of beauty to watch all of the parts come together on every play.
watching a wide receiver block downfield to spring a running back open
seeing the O-line protect the QB and buying the wide reciever enough time to get downfield for a big play watching a running back fake a handoff and take it up the middle so the QB can roll left and complete a 10 yard pass even seeing the guys block for a field goal attempt or a punt is a thing of beauty. truly no 1 player can dominate without his teammates

I used to think that but ironically enough I have actually come around to baseball. The most important position on the field changes with each game and you can avoid the best offensive player in critical situations. Imagine if Brady only played one quarter of each game or if you could literally keep the ball out of AP's or Megatron's hands in on a big possession? Guys like Brady and Manning and Rodgers and APAD have more impact on their teams fortunes than Verlander or Cabrera or Trout or any other player you wanna name.
