Clinton isn't going to stay if Obama is re-elected. And obviously Susan Rice isn't going to replace her, considering how badly she's been screwing up.

So who does that leave? John Kerry is the Chairman on the Senate Commission on Foreign Relations. However, I think Jon Huntsman, the former Ambassador to China would be the ideal choice, since both these dudes were harping about China throughout the debate.

Meh, Barry's going to keep killing them. He's good at it. It's okay though; it's not like he'll be ordering Drone Strikes in Saudi Arabia or India.

I don't think Rice would get approved due to her comments about Libya. Republicans took an L on Libya last night, they'll try to take a scalp if Obama nominates her. I'd go with Kerry, who is respected and not involved in Libya

Isn't he a valuable chairman of the committee though? This might depend on whether Warren unseats Brown or not. If she loses, Kerry might give up his seat for her. If she wins though, Obama might as well look or someone else and keep Kerry on the Committee. There's not a chance that the Dems will grab a 60+ majority on the Senate in order to stop Republicans from blocking votes, and the chances for winning back to house are small as well. They'll need every Senator/Congressman they can get, so it might be in the President's best interest to hire someone who isn't holding office.

Obama took the blame during the debate last night if anyone missed it.
She's too ambitious to go anywhere.

She said she's not staying for his second term a long time ago, so he has to find a replacement. She's 64 now, meaning she'll have to be 68-69 when she runs again in 2016. That's simply too old.

She's got another 40 years in her current body.

She's a reptillian afterall

It won't be hard to replace him on the committee with the next ranking member (Casey or Boxer), plus dems will appoint someone or do a special election for Kerry's seat; it'll definitely go to a democrat. I suppose if Scott Brown loses to Warren he could try to run for Kerry's seat the next year, but I don't think it would work. Dems should be careful and nominate a good candidate though, like maybe a Kennedy or someone else who would surely win. No more amateurs
