Didn't even know this movie existed, but it has all the makings for an enormous flop.

-$170mil budget to an advertisement director making his feature length debut for a story that no one knows about.
-Random western actor (Keanu fukking Reeves) thrown into an otherwise entirely foreign movie
-Been pushed back over a year, director reportedly removed from the project with the studio now taking over editing. They did reshoots to focus more on Keanu's character. Originally he's not in the final battle, now he's fighting a "supernatural" creature with the editing process basically being sifting through what was filmed to make the movie more about his character. This has pushed the budget up to 225mil.
There might be a miracle where this turns out to be good, but more than likely this shyt is going to bury a few careers.
Universal is behind this one, too
Cowboys & Aliens, Battleship, and this? Seems like all you have to do to get a movie greenlit at Universal is write a script that's as expensive as possible.
