WOW..

So this week with "Whistle" this guy has a #1 song.

Every single from his album has peaked in the top 10 so far... I believe they are 4 for 4.... Dude is doing well

It's just amazing that with all of these singles, his ALBUM sales are still low.... but every single so far has been a hit, and it doesn't look like the next song to be released as a single is going to be a dud.

It's just amazing that with all of these singles, his ALBUM sales are still low.... but every single so far has been a hit, and it doesn't look like the next song to be released as a single is going to be a dud.

This is a perfect example of the point I made in the Rick Ross-Young Jeezy post.

The only artists moving ALBUMS these days are those who have some connection with their fans.

With the exception maybe of country, no artist is gonna sell albums and go platinum with just hits these days.

They'll buy the singles, they'll youtube the shyt out of you, but drop $12 for the whole thing? Naaah.

It's crazy... I don't get it either. All the songs have been hits, and people have been buying them... Plus the CD is lined up with hits.. Why keep spending $1 on the songs, and just buy the whole thing
