it's the honest truth of academia. That said in my field it is very important to manipulate factors in experiments in clearly measurable ways with their respective measurement uncertainty quantified

Most people do not read academic papers however, and even less understand the tests or equipment used in them. Peer review is not easy though, getting a thesis or dissertation through defense is difficult. That said like any and all science published most won't make it through unless peers in the same field can't recreate the experiment

that is the one thing your video fails to mention. Many of the experiments in pharma, chem etc go through substantially more hurdles in ACADEMIA vs in Industry. If something gets discovered in a business there is significantly less incentive to be forthright

@xCivicx - I watched this flat earther interview (D. Marble) and I followed his logic more than traditional science. I believe that it’s possible, but then again, I don’t trust the government at all.
