Remember in his TNA contract it says other guys have a tour bus or plane tickets paid for and FVD instead gets driven around in a SCHOOL BUS?

:russ:

Don't sleep, school buses have come up in the past ten years. Seat belts, AC, RVD is riding in style. :win:

Now if TNA only sprang for an International S1700 Blue Bird then it's going to be a rough ride.

Anyway, I like both versions. Eddie's looked like it hurt more, RVD's is more graceful.

Wait a minute. People are discussing the best Frog Splashes, and no one mentioned Art Barr, the originator of the Frog Splash?

From 5:20.

:aicmon: Come on people.

Even CM Gawd admits it: " Alot of ppl use the frog splash over the years. Everyone who uses it is a 4 star frog splash. When RVD did it, it became a 5 star frog splash."

Man...RVD was as hot as anyone Ive ever seen, career wise, in 2001. He had that early Austin/Rock type feel, before they were pushed to the moon, where fans were begging for him to be "the man". WWE not pulling the trigger on a big RVD push, and instead investing in HHH, is absolutely one of the bigger mistakes in company history.

I co-sign this 100%. I made a thread a few months back related to how RVD was suppose to be that next "guy" to carry the company. It's pretty sad how booking was shifted to pushing Triple H to the moon in 2002- once Rock and Austin were out of the way, when it was CLEAR that RVD was their greatest face and was getting the best crowd reactions.

RVD not being a company guy is what fukked him in the end. Doing his R-V-D crowd interactions during the Invasion angle, when he was supposed to be a heel is what got him in trouble out the gate. nikka got so over compared to everyone else :heh:

Then him being a wellness liability (well, a bad enough weed head to even raise concern in a wellness-less environment) made him unreliable.

I remember the night Triple H put him over CLEAN with the 5 Star, man I thought my nikka was goin to the top.

Nope, he was on his YOLO steeze and did shyt his way, and that's why he won the WWE title, and Vince switched it off him for that souless ECW belt :snoop:
