Fl Studio producers , can you help me make my drum patterns sound right with my samples

Before you answer , I don't have an MPC at the moment and I use the FPC app implemented in the software .

When I do use FPC , i'll have the sample and rhythm all set up , and when I'm recording my drum pattern it'll initially sound good , until I play it back :martin: shyt will sound wild out of place and it's getting me dumb agitated , anyone whos experience that could help me with this dilemma it would be greatly appreciated ..

Sometimes it helps if you quantize the notes after you play them. I use a shytty old midi keyboard and I run into the same problem as you too.

Turn off snap. Check latency settings, and what grid are you using?

Fpc is dope for live recording or performance but otherwise you should try fruity slicer or slicex with edison. Did some dope stuff though with fpc so if it works for you it's all good .

it seems that the starting points of your samples may have too much "dead air" before the actual transient. Try zooming into each starting point of the sample you chopped and make sure its as tight as possible. You can watch a webinar I did on sampling here:
