the movie overall was dope as a kid, full of action!!
my fave part is seeing a person and a dinosaur together i
:whoo::whoo::mjcry:
that shyt had me teary eyed in the cinema,brehs!!
as a kid dinosaurs were my obsession!!
i read so many books about them
and this was before discovery channel was showing CGI dinosaurs week in/week out!!
this must've been one of the first times seeing a person and dinosaur in the same scene,
brachiosaurus standing on its hind leg as the majestic music by film music genius john williams swells up,
richard attenborough's 'welcome to jurassic park ' phrase - this is cinematic gold right here!!

:ohhh::ohlawd:A DINOSAUR NEXT TO A PERSON(PRESENTED IN SUCH A REAL WAY)WAS JUST AN OUT OF THIS WORLD EXPERIENCE TO ME!!

Still one of my all time favorites. I just read the Jurassic Park novel and I'm currently reading The Lost World. I like how Spielberg changed the story up in some ways, but if they were ever going to reboot the series at some point in the future and redo JP1, I'd like to see them stick to the book. Only because I would hate for them to try and out do the original movie. If they stick to the book I think it would be simultaneously similar and different enough for it to stand on it's own and still be really good.

Yeah, the novel is pretty good. Some of the main differences off the top are the roles of the kids are reversed. The boy is the older one and the girl is the younger. There are two T-Rexes. An adult and a young one. I actually think the raptors and the Rex come off a bit more menacing in the novel. Some of the characters like Genaro, the lawyer that got eaten on the toilet, Dodgeson, who gave Nedry the shaving cream, and Harding, who was nursing the triceratops, they have larger roles in the novel, especially the lawyer. And some people from the movie that survive don't survive in the book. I won't say who just in case you decide to read it.

After reading the novel I was satisfied and agreed with the changes Spielberg made, but like I said. I think a quality movie could be made if, during a reboot, someone else was to come along and stick a bit closer to the novel.
