From what I understand it was more about the bar being set so low with the narrative that black men don't have fathers in their lives and that cats like Lavar are looked at like Unicorns and shyt which is ignorant and true. Lavar being put on a pedestal for simply doing what he is supposed to do...take care of family. That same narrative isn't directed towards white cats. It's ridiculous.

The topic should've never been discussed in the first place, they were talking about his comments towards the female ref and she brought up the black father narrative.
