First day back at the gym un appreciation

Yesterday after 3 months being gone.

Walked in like :jawalrus:

Jogged on the treadmill for warm up :smugfavre:


Went to work :lift:

Of course lost strength but I was surprised how I could still handle the weight when it came to curls. I was still in my same range just 5-10 lbs lighter depending on the exercise.

Left the gym like :dead:


Woke up this morning :to:


But I'm going in today :lolbron:

It's been awhile since I worked legs. I forced myself into the gym. I was sore afterwards. I drank a lot of water and took an ibuprofen to avoid next day soreness. It worked.

I been out for about two weeks; first it was a head cold, then I had real bad sinus issues. I had off today for bereavement, so I went to the gym, got there and found I ain't have my lifting gloves. I don't think I really wanted to go anyway, so :manny:. I came back home. :to:. Trying to psych myself up to go tomorrow. Once I get that first one out the way I'll be back on track.

I actually kinda enjoy the soreness after returning from a break. Checks my ego and pushes me to go harder.

I like it too, especially after doing legs... I love when I'm in the office a day or so after doing legs, and I start to stand up like :damn: but then I remember how hard I went in doing squats and leg presses and stuff, and then I'm like :ahh:

This week's been my recovery week. First one Ive had in a while. feels like ive been gone forever. No protein shakes, no creatine, nothing. Can't wait til Monday
