Finally gonna buy a PS4, should I wait until after Christmas to buy?

I think I read consoles get a sale after the holidays? Was wondering if I should hold off until then. I'm in no rush. My cuz works at Target and can hook me up with a 15% discount, so if I can save some more bucks on top of a sale, cool.

Look out for Black Friday sales. I'm sure you'll be able to cop a PS4 Slim for about $150-$200 (current retail price is $299). Note that the next generation consoles are rumored to be announced as early as the first quarter of 2019 so you might wanna hold off if you can.

Why hold off for the 5 when there will be a shortage of great games for at least a couple years? He has dozens of fire games he can play on the ps4. Only rich kids and nerd but systems on launch day.

I don’t game much. If the PS5 does drop within the next 1-2 years I won’t buy until years later.

If PS5 does come out at a decent timeframe, you could always trade the pro in for credit

With your 15% discount you aren't going to find a better deal until eBay drops a timely 20% off. They are due for 1 or 2 more by the end of the year according to my clock on them.

Gamer Gods blessed me. My uncle came upon one and gave it to me. It was just the console; luckily the PS3 power cord works for it (and it works for the PS2!) and I had to buy a control (a cheap one, fukk paying 70 bucks for brand name). I've been buying games over the years just to stock up. Now I can finally play.

Gotta chill on playing hours since I need to stay on track with my writing.
