Yo, I prefaced that I didn't (and still don't wanna do it), but there's certain moves I gotta make in order to go legal and start putting shyt in my name. I'm tryna be more Jay-Z and less Waka Flocka.

I had to, because they came knocking on my door one day. I was a student but purchased a home, etc. and never filed a tax return because of no "traceable source" of income. Well, long story short, I had back taxes and penalties, but claimed insolvency (inability to pay), and it was taken care of. However, I had to get a tax attorney to figure all that shyt out which cost me $3k. But it was far better than the $50k they were trying to hit me with.

Trust me, fix your shyt. Don't let the man have that hanging over your head.

Well I had a home, and that's what did me in. I never filed my mortgage interest statements for years, and they wanted to know how I paid my mortgage but yet claimed no income. Foolishness on my part, but I was 21 at the time and was busy with other shyt. But again, this is shyt everyone should take care of because you don't want it to haunt you in a few years down the road.
