With The Leftovers, if you can make it through the depressing nature of S1, there’s a tonal shift in the second season that honestly makes the show shine to new heights because of it. Legit one of the greatest television seasons ever.Barry and Bob been on my radar ..
the leftovers??
It's a difficult question to answer. You'll be enjoying some of the greatest television ever made from seasons 1 - 6 only to watch it crash and burn in seasons 7 and 8.
Im a firm believer that HBO could crowdsource the budget to redo the last 2 seasons with different writers and the whole cast would come back to do it. No one but Nikolaj (Jaime) is doing anything anyway. Call it "Song of Ice and Fire".It's a difficult question to answer. nah, might as well jump into The Corner first since its similar to the Wire
Sopranos and Thrones are good but they're too much of a drastic change coming fresh off that show

I'm not a book reader and I hated the final season It completely ruined everything that came before.Yeah... Can't even give him a stopping point. I say he should watch it if he ain't a book reader. There's a chance he'll be one of the folks that like the entire run.
I think it's too late now. It would be like getting back together with an ex. I feel like if you binge it, which a few friends of mine did after it aired, it doesnt sting as much. The anticipation due to length between seasons was crazy. Not sure (in an 8 season time frame) if we wouldnt be disappointed no matter what they did.Yeah... Can't even give him a stopping point. I say he should watch it if he ain't a book reader.
