People should and will continue to spend their money how they want, that's not something the gov should be involved in these aren't kids. Nobody's made to buy ancillary products, just like nobody makes people buy Ferraris used before they get the chance to buy new. You just won't have the Birkin or Ferrari

Whether or not salesmen should get commissions is a different story, but I'd imagine there's little salesmanship going on once somebody gets to that level in a loyalty system. The decision to buy was made long before whoever walked to the back and came out with the bag, that's the easiest part of the transaction & the part anybody can do. Branding puts everything into motion before that
