Films being shot in New Orleans unnappreciation

No disrespect to my brethren from the swamplands. And yes I know about the nice tax credits and how its much cheaper to shoot in Louisiana than a LA or NY. Certain films and shows it works really well- The Apostle, True Detective, The Road, Django Unchained, Interview With A Vampire, and the likes... but come on outside of that the old dreary French Quarter and swampy backdrops brings a look to my face when I see them onscreen for most flicks shot there. Maybe its just me

They do show other parts of the city but nobody outside the city realizes the movie was shot in New Orleans. Like that garbage green lantern movie was shot down here and not one shot of the French Quarter was in the movie.
