Film Room's All-Time Top 10 TV Shows (voting closes end of Feb.)

Here are the rules:

1. Pick 10 shows and only 10. No fewer, no more. Anything other than 10 doesn't count.
2. Rank from top to bottom, so #1 is you all-time favorite
3. Any post without numbering will not be counted
4. Shows from all TV networks and streaming providers are eligible
5. One season shows are ineligible unless it is a canceled series, a limited series, or an anthology series
6. If a TV show has been remade, please indicate by air years if you are including the original or the remake
7. Voting closes at the end of February.

Votes will be compiled on March 1 or as soon as I can get to it. I will then edit the original post with the final top 10 and an honorable mention list for the shows outside the top 10 that received multiple votes.

And do you all feel like 10 is enough or should it be expanded to 15, 20, etc.? While 15-20 would make for a more interesting list, I feel like we would see less participation with the more shows I asked people to vote for.

I realize my list is devoid of such notable top 10 staples like The Sopranos and The Wire, for example, it's because I haven't seen them yet. I love me a sitcom that can consistently make me laugh though, hence why Rules of Engagement made my top 10.

Yea but your thread is for GOAT shows and they have only aired 2 seasons. How can that show already be a GOAT show and it hasn't even ended. Not to say that the first 2 seasons aren't good, but GOAT already? Same thing with American Crime (only 2 seasons). And also, have you ever watched The Sopranos or The Wire?

My list is the shows I like the most. My list isn't going to be a list of the consensus. Quality is what is key for me. And I think the two seasons of each of those shoes are pretty damn high quality entertainment for me.

And I said in the post with my list I haven't watched those two shows yet...
