He dyed his hair witha really harsh color too many times. Blondes especially platinum blondes really damage blk hair because of how much you have to lighten the hair to dye the color. Plus wicks are harder on scalp tension because they weight more, weakening the scalp follicles. Combined with his diet and recreational drug use this was probably a matter of time.

Yup, that's why most women who wear platinum blonde have very low cuts because it destroys the hair. He's gonna have to cut his hair because it's damaged beyond repair.

I wanna keep my hair as long as possible. Like you, I moisturize/oil them two-three times a week. Best decision I ever made I wish I would’ve started them years ago. I don’t do the shapeups or barbers anymore either…I like the “natural” look plus the whole point was I didn’t want to have to go to the barber 2-4 times a month…I MAY try to just line up my hairline but I’m even opposed to that lol..I was a barber every week kinda guy before… I don’t want my ish ever looking like future or Wayne…I want mine staying full and moisturized like Hov minus the wicks
