Paramount needs someone with an interesting idea for the turtles. Just because bay produced it doesn’t mean it was his take. He just funded the project lol. They need someone like homie who directed and wrote TMNT to come on and let him or her do their thing

It is but there's no way in hell that would've translated into a cartoon. Not even in the 80's when people were a lot less concerned with coddling kids. Most of the stuff we seen in the 80's would not be OK'ed in 2018.

But as far as the manga....it was a lot darker and more serious.
