Just wondering what your experience has been dating an Indian woman (ie meaning from India not native american) or a woman who was muslim or follower in Islam. How did that go with meeting their parents or other family and friend, especially if the 2 of you didnt share the same religion. Were they americanized in the sense that they were heavy into american tv shows and music.

My daughter's mother is Somalian and Muslim, she's more westernized so she doesn't follow as strictly as the rest of her fam but its still a fuccin headache. I myself don't care about religion but her fam being Muslim and mine being Christian cause a lot of heads to bump

Trini's and Guyanese may take on the Hindu religion but they're not adopting/following much else from the Indian culture.
